Whirlpool Oven Control Board Reset

Basically the oven control board should be back where it should be except there is no ribbon linking it with the touchpad.

Whirlpool oven control board reset. You are going to re use the original plastic bezel aka panel substrate remove the front panel that contains the keypad and control board. Press and hold the door alarm keypad 2. Remove original touchpad membrane. Be sure to remove power to oven before proceeding.

The control will display pe to indicate the programming mode. If the code does not clear turn off the circuit breaker or unplug the oven for five minutes and then restore the power. If a whirlpool oven displays an error code make a note of the code and press the stop clear button on the display panel. Put the oven control board back together and return it to its original position. Release the door alarm keypad and wait 3 seconds. Press and hold freezer temperature down keypad.

During the self cleaning process the stove will lock its front door and will flash oven locked on its front display. Thank you for your inquiry. Entry is confirmed by pressing the freezer temperature down keypad once more. The control will display the current program code.
