Twin Stick Transmission Pattern

I looking at buying a 1980 mack dump truck.

Twin stick transmission pattern. It has the twin stick transmission and no shifting pattern on the dash knobs. My initial thought was that each stick would control three gears and that s how it appears in the video. Always called a 16 speed twin stick. For example i have herd that the basic setup is a 5 or 6 speed main and a hi lo.

Its a gold dog truck and that is about all i know at this point. Giveaways of trucking apparel toys etc as we reach subscriber milestones. The standard transmission paired with any of the engines was a three speed manual on the column. By thaddeusw september 26 2005 in engine and transmission. Hardly ever used the first 4 gears. Never saw a 3rd stick either.

I can t seem to find the shift pattern for this transmission anywhere. Optional was overdrive column shifted flash o matic automatic shift command flash o matic a console shifted automatic with manual control or the twin stick three speed manual with overdrive. I drove fuel transport back in the early 70s. I siting here trying to remember the shift pattern.
